Brand University is pleased to announce its new collaboration with the German Design Council. The German Design Council acts as a leading global competence center for communication and knowledge transfer in the field of design, brands and innovation. Its members are well-known companies, institutions and individuals. It offers them a forum for cross-industry knowledge transfer and ensures competitive advantages for its members.
Brand University and the German Design Council have agreed to cooperate with immediate effect. In doing so, the German Design Council will refer companies from its member network to BU. The aim is to expand and intensify BU’s research, teaching and practice with the member companies of the German Design Council.
Members of the German Design Council include:
In addition, the BU will receive a seat on the juries of the German Design Award and the German Brand Award from the German Design Council as of September 2022. These will be made available to BU as an institution and will be held each year by professors from within the university, depending on current requirements.
With the German Design Council, BU will also have a strong and experienced partner at its side in the future: the German Design Council represents Germany’s design and brand authority. Initiated by the German Bundestag, the German Design Council has been helping to strengthen design as an economic factor since 1953.
With the successful signing of a framework agreement, it gives us great pleasure to announce this cooperation!
