Brand Management

BU x Hamburger Volksbank

The 5th semester Brand Management worked together with Hamburger Volksbank in the specialisation module Service Marketing.

The project with the local bank focussed on Hamburg's diversity.

Under the guidance of lecturer Claudia Tobis, three groups worked intensively on target group and competitor analyses, among other things, and visited several branch managers on site at their banks to conduct interviews.

Based on their newly acquired knowledge, the students developed ideas and concepts for the appearance of the Hamburg branches.

Just like the briefing at the kick-off event, the final presentation also took place at the Hamburger Volksbank headquarters. In addition to marketing managers and branch managers, representatives of the Management Board were also present to view the concepts developed by our students.

All sides benefited from a great exchange on this occasion.

We would like to thank Hamburger Volksbank for the cooperation and for the opportunity to give our students valuable practical experience in service marketing.
