As a part of international product development course, our master students worked on a practice project for Tesa SE, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of self-adhesive product and system solutions.
Since 1941, the name tesa® has been the umbrella brand used for all self-adhesive products manufactured by the group of companies. The name covers a wide range of different system solutions for industrial and professional applications, as well as about 300 products for consumers.
During a period of four months, our students within groups of two were having the aim of addressing different potential target groups with innovative products and a holistic marketing & sales approaches. The focus the project was on three main objectives:
Insight generation: Identification of heavy user/ special interest target groups.
Ideation: Development of innovative product ideas.
Conception: Development of a business concept for tesa, including a marketing- and sales concept.
The final project presentations where made by the students in front of top management and senior managers of the company.
